Cumberland – David J.
Teixeira, 79, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 15, 2019.
Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Manuel and Genevieve (Sanocki) Teixeira.
David served in the United States Army National Guard and worked as a tool and die maker for many years until his retirement.
He was a loyal and longtime Boston Red Sox fan, an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling and bowled many perfect 300 games.
David leaves two sons, Stephen J.
Teixeira, Sr. and his wife, Joyce Demers, of Lincoln and Kevin M.
Teixeira and his wife, Katie of Cumberland; a daughter, Pamela J.
Teixeira and her husband, Erik Hanrahan, of Conway, New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Bailey and Jared Teixeira and Stephen Teixeira, Jr.; a step-grandson, Brandon Hanrahan; a brother, Manuel Teixeira and his wife, Patricia, of Cumberland and two nieces, Wendy Pacheco and Tammy Leonard.
VISITATION will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St.
Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St.
Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 will be appreciated.
