David A. Malkasian, Det. Sgt. Ppd (Ret.)

Pawtucket – David A. Malkasian, Det. Sgt. PPD (Ret.), 67, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday evening, August 16, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Grace E. (Rosati) Malkasian. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Albert A. and Flora A. (Buco) Malkasian. Dave was a member of the Pawtucket Police Department with over twenty-three years of service before retiring as Detective Sergeant in 2001. He was then employed by the State of Rhode Island Lottery Commission for nineteen years until June 4, 2021. Dave was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Association of Retired Police Officers. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, David A. Malkasian, Jr. and his wife, Elza, and James Rocco Malkasian; two grandchildren, Olivia Malkasian and Domenic Malkasian, and several nieces and nephews.  VISITATION will be Monday, August 21, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
