David B. Lapointe

Cranston – David B. Lapointe, 45, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Born in Suffern, New York, he was the son of Raymond R. Lapointe, Sr. of Woonsocket, and Deborah (Bertrand) Fleming and her husband, Richard, of Pawtucket. David graduated from Cumberland High School in 1997 and continued his studies at New England Tractor Trailer Training School. He worked as a truck driver for many years, and most recently as a laborer for Ray’s Handyman Service, North Smithfield. David was an avid New England sports fan who enjoyed rooting for the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics. He loved a good game of golf, and could be found playing a round or two on any given weekend. David enjoyed listening to music, reading true crime books and watching true crime docuseries. His presence will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.
