Pawtucket – David “Chef” J.
Rousseau, 57, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 9, 2012.
He was the beloved husband of Denise V. (Pond) Rousseau for twenty-one years.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was the son of Grace H. (McLean) Rousseau of Pawtucket and the late Oscar J.
Dave was the proprietor of the former Absolute Catering, Pawtucket, for twenty years before becoming a chef for the RI State Police Academy; he was most recently the chef at Sigma Pi Fraternity at URI.
He loved his family, his dogs, cooking, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves three children, Sara J.
Lesperance of Pawtucket and her fiancé, Jeremy Conti, Dana P.
Lesperance and his wife, Hillary of Lincoln, and Noel C.
Lesperance of Pawtucket and her boyfriend, Michael Sarazin; a granddaughter, Grace H.
Lesperance; two sisters, Jan Bouvier of East Providence and Karen Wims of Myrtle Beach, SC and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at11 a.m. in St.
Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
VISITATION Monday 4 to 8 p.m.
