David L. Harrold

Harrold, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved companion of Judith A. (Serafin) DeRosa for nearly forty years.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Daniel F., Jr., and Helen (McNamara) Harrold.

David graduated from Pawtucket West High School in 1962 and served six years with the U.S.

He worked as a teller at the former Industrial National Bank, Pawtucket, prior to working in sales at the former Narragansett Brewery, Cranston.

David resided in San Francisco and Miami, where he worked in the hospitality industry.

He was a die-hard New England sports fan and especially enjoyed the Boston Celtics.

David enjoyed playing golf and relished the opportunity to play at the prestigious Olympic Club, San Francisco, CA.

His presence will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Besides his companion, David leaves two children, Shane D.

Harrold of Needham, MA and Heather Carpenito and her husband, Brian, of Hingham, MA; his former wife, Cheryl (Haywood) Harrold; seven grandchildren, Shane, Jr., Casey, Madeline, Ella, Lucia, Cheyenne and Sierra; two siblings, Peter Harrold of Lake Worth, FL and Deborah A.

Harrold of Pawtucket; many cousins and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Francis Paul Harrold and Margaret Harrold Nickell.

The funeral will be held on Friday, March 22nd at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St.

Mary Church, 103 Pine St., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at St.

VISITATION will be held on Thursday, March 21st from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
