David Glaude

August 27, 1956 — September 16, 2020

Seekonk – David Glaude, 64, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020.

He was the beloved husband of Madeline M. (Sousa) Glaude for forty-four loving years.

Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Leo A., Sr. and Molly (Kelly) Glaude.

David worked as a machinist and manager at CPI Controls in Pawtucket for many years until his recent retirement.

In his free time, he enjoyed countless pastimes including leisurely rides on his Harley-Davidson, traveling especially to his favorite island, Sao Miguel, Acores, camping, photography and helping family and friends alike fixing or repairing just about anything.

David considered himself to be a jack of all trades and a master of none.

He loved life and new experiences.

David was fun loving and led a full life with no regrets.

Above all else, he was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

His true passion in life was being surrounded by his family and spending time with his two beloved grandkids.

David will be deeply missed and will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.

Besides his loving wife, he leaves two children, Jessica L.

Cooke and her husband, Mark, of Cumberland and Matthew D.

Glaude of Seekonk; two grandchildren, Jacoby Tyler Cooke and Mia Rose Cook; a sister, Karen Barnabe; a brother, Leo Glaude, Jr. and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, September 24th at 11 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will be private.

Due to current Covid-19 regulations, face coverings and social distancing must be observed while in attendance of the funeral services.

Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted.

Memorial gifts to the Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215 would be appreciated.
