East Providence – David E. Cunha, 69, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Edward and Alice (Rentes) Cunha. David was a graduate of William E. Tolman High School, Class of 1970 and went on to earn his electronic technician certificate in 1972. He began his career at the age of 15 working along side his dad at the family business, Valley Electronics, for over twenty years. David later worked for Sears & Roebuck for twenty-five years until his retirement. He was also an antique car enthusiast and was proud of his own antique truck. David was a member of the Cruising New England Car Club and attended many antique car shows and area cruise nights. David leaves a son, Adam R. Cunha of Providence; a sister, Diane L. Vincent of Cumberland; a niece, Courtney M. Vincent-Carr and her wife, Jo Carr of Smithfield and a nephew, Michael R. Vincent of Cumberland. He was the brother of the late Douglas V. Cunha.
