Darlene M. Poisson

Chula Vista, California - Darlene M. Poisson, 59, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Janet E. (Pierce) Poisson and Norman Saul Poisson. Darlene resided in Pawtucket before moving to California over thirty-five years ago. She received her master’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. Darlene began her career at Providence College before becoming a student services specialist, assisting students with disabilities at Southwestern College, Chula Vista, California. Not only did she find a wonderful niche at Southwestern College for thirty-five years, she also made many friends with those she worked with. She was a wonderful friend and took you in as her own. She leaves three brothers, Norman D. Poisson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kenneth G. Poisson and his wife, Cheryl, of Pawtucket, RI and Alan J. Poisson of Pawtucket, RI; a nephew, Nathan K.
