Daniel J. Walsh, Sr.

East Providence – Daniel J. Walsh, Sr., 69, of Riverside, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, September 6, 2024. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Donald T. Walsh and Shirley E. (Lunderville) Parent. Dan worked for many years as a truck driver and enjoyed spending quiet time at home.  He leaves two children, Daniel J. Walsh, Jr. in Washington State and Cheyenne Tufts and her husband, Dan, of Hampden, Maine; a granddaughter, Poppy Tufts; five siblings, Joanne M. Silveira and her husband, Joseph, of Swansea, Linda M. Dooley and her husband, Kenneth, of Pawtucket, Sheila L. Monteiro of Pawtucket, Cheryl Walsh in Massachusetts, and William “Bill” Walsh and his wife, Karen in New Hampshire; three nephews and one niece. He was the uncle and godfather of the late Mathew J.
