Daniel J. Kennedy

Pawtucket – Daniel J. Kennedy, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Beatrice “Bea” R. (Healy) Kennedy for sixty-four years. A lifelong resident of Rhode Island, he was a son of the late Anthony and Mary (Richer) Kennedy. Dan was a Korean War U.S. Navy veteran, and attended the Rhode Island School of Design. He was a Master Toolmaker at FRAM Automotive for many years until retiring in 1991. He was also the inventor of the Kennedy Cup and various other non-spill products. Dan enjoyed Providence College Basketball, tennis, golf and ping-pong. He was a member of the Leon Mathieu Senior Center, Cedar Cove Community Center and enjoyed spending over twenty-five winters in Sarasota, FL. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
