Cynthia M. Oliveira

Pawtucket – Cynthia M. (Antone) Oliveira, 61, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015. Born in Newport, a daughter of Marylou (Gonsalves) Antone of Newport and the late Joseph Antone, Sr., she was a lifelong resident of Newport until moving to Pawtucket in 2002. Cindy was a 1971 graduate of Rogers High School, Newport and later earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from CCRI, Warwick. She enjoyed working with children and had been a counselor at Turning The Corner, Providence and previously taught nursery school at New Visions of Newport County. Besides her mother, she leaves a son, Thomas W. Oliveira, Jr. of Pawtucket; a daughter, Tanya M. Oliveira of Newport; three grandchildren, Shahyeim K. Oliveira, Thomas W. Oliveira, III and Tyler G. Oliveira; two brothers, Joseph Antone, Jr. and James D. Antone both of Newport; three sisters, Brenda Boyd of Newport, Cathleen Fontes of Pawtucket and Susan Antone of Newport; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Memorial gifts to the...
