Curtis H. Wilbar, Sr.

November 23, 1928 — April 26, 2021

South Attleboro – Curtis Hoover Wilbar, Sr., 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 26, 2021.

He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy M. (Betts) Wilbar.

Born in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Curtis R. and Ethel M. (Hanscom) Wilbar.

Curtis worked at the former Engelhard Industries, Plainville, MA, as a master electrician for many years prior to retiring in 1990.

He was a member of Model A Restorers Club of Massachusetts, Independent Sportman’s Club and Train Collectors Association.

Curtis enjoyed classic car cruises with his Model A and going on tours with fellow collectors.

He is survived by a son, Curtis H.

Wilbar, Jr. and his wife, Nicola, of Sharon, MA; a grandson, Jeremy A.

Wilbar, also of Sharon, MA; a sister, Barbara Lovenbury of Attleboro, MA and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Shirley Robert.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside Service on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Newell Burying Ground, South Attleboro.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in WILLIAM W.
