Lebel, 88, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, September 13, 2021.

He was the beloved husband of the late Doris (St.

Born in Berlin, New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Adelard and Claudia Lebel.

Army veteran, Pete proudly served his country overseas during the Korean War.

In the 1950’s he relocated to Seekonk, MA, where he purchased a modest home that he rebuilt himself to better suit his growing family.

Pete worked for Teknor Apex in Pawtucket as a maintenance mechanic for many years until his retirement.

He enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales where he would find random items that he knew people needed.

You just gave him a list and many times within a week he would find it.

Pete was the “go to guy” whenever something needed to be fixed or for a laugh shared over a good joke.

He loved driving around in his ‘89 Oldsmobile station wagon, knicknamed “the Woody” by his grandchildren.

One of his favorite past times was listening and singing to classic country music.

His humor and love for his family will be greatly missed by the lives he has touched.

He is survived by three children, Joanne Nicholson and her husband, Bob, of Seekonk, Joseph Lebel and his wife, Roberta, of Connecticut and Janet Senecal and her husband, John, of Seekonk; six grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua, Kyle, Vanessa, Tyler and Joseph; eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was the father of the late Michael L.

Lebel, brother of the late Bob, Doris, Rita, Claudette and Anne, and companion of the late Kay Sargent.

His funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, Coyle Dr., Seekonk.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

VISITATION will be held on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pete’s memory to his favorite charity, Operation Smile, 3641 Faculty Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23453 would be appreciated.
