Colette S. Meehen

Pawtucket – Colette S. (Peloquin) Meehen, 76, passed away on Friday, May 8, at Miriam Hospital in Providence after bravely battling a long illness.                         Born in Pawtucket on July 19, 1944, Colette was the daughter of Stella G. Sweet of Central Falls, and the late Raymond C. Peloquin. She lived in Pawtucket for most of her life.                         A graduate of the former Sacred Heart High School in Pawtucket, Colette worked in recent years as a medical transcriptionist for Gateway Healthcare in Pawtucket until her retirement in 2020.                         She was a devoted fan of various sports, and enthusiastically followed professional tennis, college basketball, and New England Patriots football.                         Within her circle of friends and family, Colette was cherished for her thoughtful ways of showing appreciation and affection, remembering others on their special days, and choosing just the right gift or card to honor or thank someone.
