Clara Ruttle

TO VIEW MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL VIA LIVESTREAM CLICK HERE Pawtucket – Clara I. (Henao) Ruttle, 70, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 23, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones.

She was the beloved wife of Joseph P.

Ruttle for twenty-five wonderful years.

Born in Colombia, she was the youngest child of the late Dr.

Francisco and Lucilia (Martinez) Henao.

Clara immigrated to the United States in the 1980’s and settled in Pawtucket where she dedicated her life to her family and home.

She was a faithful parishioner of St.

Teresa Church in Pawtucket where she was a member of their knitting club.

Clara worked as a teacher’s aide for Meeting Street in Providence and also at Franciscan Children's in Brighton, MA, where she dedicated her time enriching the lives of children with disabilities.

She enjoyed gardening, shopping and entertaining in her home where everyone was welcomed.

Clara was a positive spirit who was always optimistic and loved living life.

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by two stepchildren, Heather Cottier of New Hampshire, and Tara Ruttle of Massachusetts; two step-grandchildren, Joey and Jordan; four siblings, Benjamin Henao of Florida and Luz, Cecilia and Alvaro, all of Colombia; her “American Sister” and dear friend, Joanna Sierzega, of Pawtucket and many nieces, nephews and cousins all over the world.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend VISITATION on Friday beginning at 9:00 a.m. in WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St.

Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St.

Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
