Pawtucket – Clara A. (Oakley) Batista, 81, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Batista, Sr. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Bertha (Simpson) Oakley. Clara worked as an assembler at Texnor Apex for many years until her retirement. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time along the coast with family and friends. Clara was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Clara leaves four children, Rose McGuire and her husband, William of Pawtucket, Antonio Batista, Jr., and his wife, Florence also of Pawtucket, Anna Lee Letellier and her husband, David of Franklin, IN and Michael Batista and his wife, Angelique of Rumford; a brother, Frederick Oakley of North Attleboro; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
