Claire S. Riendeau

Pawtucket – Claire S. (LaPorte) Riendeau, 75, died at home while in the care of her loving family on February 12, 2012. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Gabrielle LaPorte and the wife of Raymond Riendeau. Claire was a transcriptionist at the Community Counseling Center, Pawtucket, for ten years until retiring in 2000.She was an enthusiastic and long time member of the St. Cecilia Church Choir, and enjoyed singing with the Blackstone Valley Community Singers. Claire was the loving and caring mother of six children, Paul Riendeau and wife Suzanne, daughter, Diane Riendeau and four other sons, David and wife Stacey, Joel Riendeau, Richard and wife Yuhong and Daniel and wife Cristina. She also felt blessed with seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Claire cherished all of her grandchildren and played an important role in their development.
