Claire D. Goguen

Attleboro – Claire D. Goguen, 84, of South Attleboro, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018. Born in New Bedford, she was a daughter of the late Aime and Anna (Bourgeois) Goguen. Claire earned her bachelor’s degree in education and worked most of her life as an elementary school teacher. Claire was an avid golfer and enjoyed following local sports teams, especially the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. Claire is survived by her dear friend, Therese Beauregard of South Attleboro; four sisters, Anita Plourde of West Wareham, MA, Theresa Fuller of Iowa, Rita Freitas of New Bedford, MA and Lorraine King of Dartmouth, MA. Claire also leaves many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several of her siblings. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 15th at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, 18 Baltic St., South Attleboro.
