Claire M. Durand

Pawtucket – Claire M. Durand, 92, passed on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Beatrice C. (Lapalme) Durand. Claire was a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Photography and the operator of the former Durand Photography Studio, Providence. Most recently, she was a hostess at Bobby’s Banquet Hall until retiring in 2005. She leaves a brother, Robert D. Durand, Sr. and his wife, Jane, of Pawtucket and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Irene L. Martino, Annette R. Durand, William J. Durand, Jr., Loretta L. VanThuyne and Shirley A. Henshaw. Visitation will begin Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. followed by Services at 1 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
