Claire L. Cabral

Narragansett - Claire L. (Rivet) Cabral, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 17, 2019 in North Smithfield, RI due to complications following pneumonia. She was surrounded by family and friends. Claire was the beloved wife of the late John C. Cabral Ms. Cabral was the daughter of the late Armond and Marie Rose (Guilmette) Rivet. She was a graduate of Saint Claire’s High School in Woonsocket. Ms. Cabral was a long-time hairdresser and later the office manager for the Diocese of Providence Building Commission from which she retired. Ms. Cabral was a lover of animals and had a variety of pets over her lifetime. She was also a fan of Elvis Presley, Harry Connick Jr., Andrea Bocelli and The Three Tenors. Her favorite spot was the Narragansett Sea Wall. Ms. Cabral is survived by her son Dominic and daughter-in-law Darlene Capuano; her son, Vincent Capuano; her longtime friend Rita Moretti; and several nieces and nephews.
