Claire L. Cabral

Narragansett - Claire L. (Rivet) Cabral, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 17, 2019 in North Smithfield, RI due to complications following pneumonia.

She was surrounded by family and friends.

Claire was the beloved wife of the late John C.

Cabral was the daughter of the late Armond and Marie Rose (Guilmette) Rivet.

She was a graduate of Saint Claire’s High School in Woonsocket.

Cabral was a long-time hairdresser and later the office manager for the Diocese of Providence Building Commission from which she retired.

Cabral was a lover of animals and had a variety of pets over her lifetime.

She was also a fan of Elvis Presley, Harry Connick Jr., Andrea Bocelli and The Three Tenors.

Her favorite spot was the Narragansett Sea Wall.

Cabral is survived by her son Dominic and daughter-in-law Darlene Capuano; her son, Vincent Capuano; her longtime friend Rita Moretti; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Jeanne Beliveau; her brother-in-law, Walter Beliveau; and her brother, Rene Rivet.

Cabral was well liked and well cared for at Saint Antoine Residence.

Cabral’s family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Saint Antoine Residence for their patience, caring, hard work and dedication.

VISITATION will begin on Saturday, February 23rd at noon followed by Services at 1 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
