Christine A. Bissonnette

Pawtucket – Christine A. (Wunschel) Bissonnette, 71, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, after a brief illness.

She was the beloved wife of Gerard “Jerry” H.

Bissonnette for just shy of fifty loving years.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Arthur G. and Theresa H. (Cormier) Wunschel.

Christine worked for many years as the bookkeeper at Wickford Appliance until her retirement and was a lifelong communicant of St.

Teresa Church in Pawtucket.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, dining out, traveling, Caribbean cruises, completing puzzles, and swimming at the Barrington YMCA.

Above all else, Christine was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past seventy-one years.

Along with her beloved husband, Christine leaves two daughters, Michele D.

Bissonnette of Pawtucket, and Tammy L.

Breault and her fiancé, Alan J.

Brouillette, Jr., of Pawtucket; two grandsons, Johnathan P.

Breault and his girlfriend, Hennesy Rodriguez, and Daniel G.

Breault; two siblings, Kenneth Wunschel of Cumberland, and Diane Wunschel and her husband, Donald Ardinger, of Westerly, and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late David Wunschel and the mother-in-law of the late John Breault.

Christine’s funeral will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Committal Services will follow at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery.

VISITATION will be held on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
