Pawtucket – Cheryl A. Smith, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Paula F. (Brosseau) Yahn and the late Brian H. Smith. Cheryl worked as a teacher’s assistant at the YMCA in Pawtucket for the last four years. She was also a licensed Massachusetts real estate agent with Sotheby’s International Realty, Boston, MA. Cheryl enjoyed music, traveling the world with her brother and most of all, she loved being a mother to her boys. Besides her mother, she is survived by two sons, James P. Tootell and Leonard “Steven” Troufield, both of Pawtucket; a brother, Kenneth D. Smith of Boston, MA and her amazing friends that she referred to as her sisters. She was the granddaughter of the late Nana and Pa, whom she will be laid to rest with. Relatives and friends are invited to attend VISITATION on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. in WILLIAM W.
