Charles Craig Whitcomb

Charles Craig Whitcomb, 65, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012.

He was the beloved husband of Laura A. (Reid) Whitcomb, they would have celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on March 10, 2012.

Born in Brockton, Massachusetts, a son of Margaret (Jones) Whitcomb of Hingham, Massachusetts and the late Charles G.

Whitcomb, he resided in the Pembroke, Massachusetts area before settling in Pawtucket twenty years ago.

Craig was a Vietnam Era U.S.

He enjoyed the outdoors, and especially loved singing, fishing, hunting and camping.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves four children, Charles Scott Whitcomb of New York, Jerald Craig Whitcomb of Maine, Matthew Gordon Whitcomb of Pawtucket, Rhode Island and Kendra Rose Whitcomb of Smithfield, Rhode Island; two brothers, Ronald T.

Whitcomb of Connecticut and Wayne D.

Whitcomb of Massachusetts; five grandchildren, Nicholas Knorowski-Whitcomb, Danielle Knorowski, Jarred, Cade and Spencer McCartney and several nieces and nephews.

Services and interment with Military Honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Massachusetts will be private.
