Port Richey, FL - Charles “Chuck” V.
Martel, Jr. 60, formerly of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of Ruth A. (Johnston) Charron-Parkinson and her husband, Robin Parkinson of Hudson, FL, the late Richard H.
Charron and the biological son of the late Charles V.
A 1980 graduate of Tolman High School, Pawtucket, RI, Chuck proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1980-1994 as a Security Specialist.
He was employed for many years by Feld Entertainment with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus as a transportation specialist until his retirement.
He is survived by his twin sons, Noel Cane (Erin Nissen) and Ryan Cane, both of Missouri; two grandchildren, Morgan and Logan Cane, also of Missouri; his sisters, Brenda Bryant of Pawtucket, Heidi Abatiello of Trinity, Fl, Vicki Cilento (Paul Goyette) and Jeanne Albuquerque, both of Spring Hill, FL; a half-sister Melissa Martel of Pawtucket; his aunts, Susan Jackman of North Attleboro, Ma and Rita-Martel Adams of Pawtucket, RI; close family friend, Traci White of Florida, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
He was the brother of the late Sean D.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in St.
Cecilia Church of St.
John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment with Military Honors will follow at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted.
