Charles F. Mckenna

Hopkinton – Charles F. McKenna, 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Husband of Joan M. (Harker) McKenna for 58 years. Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Joseph F. and Helen (Dolan) McKenna, he resided in Hopkinton for the past 26 years. Charlie was a Korean War U. S. Air Force veteran and a graduate of Salve Regina University. He was a Pawtucket Police Officer for 38 years, retiring as a Lieutenant in 1993. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Sharon L. Paulhus and her husband, Steve, of Lake Mary, FL; 2 grandsons who were his pride and joy, Eric C., Jr. and Tyler C. North and a sister, Helen Domenici of FL. Brother of the late Dorothy Hebert, Joseph and Bernard McKenna. VISITATION Friday 4 to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
