East Providence – Charles G. Lapham, 95, of Rumford, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday, October 8, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Arlene B. (Galarneau) Lapham for seventy-two loving years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Alice (Gordon) Lapham. Charlie was an avid golfer, lifelong athlete, and world traveler. He formerly worked for Eastco in Westwood, Mass., as the Vice President of Sales for the RCA Division. Above all else, he was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and dear friend. His memory will be cherished by all whose lives he has touched over the past ninety-five years. Besides his wife, Charlie leaves two daughters, Debra Wojcicki and Nancy Lapham both of Rumford; two grandsons, Michael Wojcicki of Providence, and Andrew Wojcicki of Rumford; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Bessette of Cumberland and many nieces and nephews.
