Charles A. Abdelahad

Pawtucket – Charles A. Abdelahad, 95, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Friday, March 28, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Nora (Amir) Abdelahad for 65 years. Born in Boston, he was a son of the late Assad and Ramza (Bargoot) Abdelahad. Charles worked as an insurance agent at Prudential for over 15 years until his retirement many years ago. He was a founding member of what is now known as the Fellowship of St. John the Divine for the Antiochian Archdiocese of North America and served on many committees at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, Pawtucket. Charles was the Chairman of the Purchasing Board for the City of Pawtucket for over ten years and also served on other various committees and boards over the years. He was an avid sports fan and closely followed all the New England and Boston sports teams.
