Cecile "Aunt Sis" M. Gevry

Pawtucket – Cecile “Aunt Sis” M. (Martel) Gevry, 87, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond B. Gevry. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Amadee and Anita (Fournier) Martel. Aunt Sis was an inspector at Conrad & Jarvis, Pawtucket for twenty-nine years before retiring in 2003. She leaves two sisters, Constance LaFerriere of East Providence and Margaret Villeneuve of Maine and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lucien Martel, Raymond Martel, Jean Fritts, Flora Correia and Monique Batista. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Aidan Church, 1460 Diamond Hill Road., Cumberland.
