Cecil C. John

John, aka Peppy 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved husband of Ingrid (Braznell) John for thirty-seven beautiful years.

Born on the island of Grenada, he was the son of the late Stephen and Louisa (Strachan) John.

Peppy immigrated to the United States in 1977 and relocated to Massachusetts prior to settling in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

He worked at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA, for forty-one years, more recently as a biomedical technician.

A jack of all trades, Peppy always kept busy around his home and was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends.

He became a member of the Temple of Restoration Church in Pawtucket and found solace in his faith.

Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by three sisters, Bernadette Baptiste, Gloria Aird, Carol James and one brother, Herbert John.

He was also the brother of the late Deryck John, Theresa Campbell, Michael John, Sr., and Joseph John.

Peppy leaves to mourn his Nephews: Michael John Jr, Shaun, Karim, Jermine, Keron, Marcus, Kenrick; Nieces: Andrea, Michelle, Nicole, Joeyshaw, Kimberly, Shinelle; Brothers-in-law: Leslie and Dave; Sisters-in-law: Andrea, Faithe, Daphne, Maryam; Relatives: The Strachans, Johns, James, Noels; Aunty Lucy, Uncle Edward, Uncle Ellis, Aunty Cynthia, the Valdez family, the Braznell family; Dear Friends: Charles, Bernard and other close family and friends.

May his soul rest in peace.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Services on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in The Temple of Restoration Church, 30 Walcott St., Pawtucket, followed by a graveside service at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in WILLIAM W.
