Carolyn "Carol" M. Messier

Pawtucket – Carolyn “Carol” M. (Bois) Messier, 77, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

She was the beloved wife of the late Lionel W.

Messier for fifty-one years.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Claire (Arrighi) Bois.

Carol was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket and a faithful parishioner of St.

She worked as a quality control inspector at the former FRAM, East Providence, for many years before retiring.

Carol enjoyed watching sports and going to car shows with her late husband.

Her presence and smile will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving son, Lee J.

Messier and his wife, Dawn, of Pawtucket; two adoring grandchildren, Joshua and Christopher Messier, also of Pawtucket; a sister, Elizabeth Girard of Rumford; her beloved pets, Baily, Rocky and Princy; a niece, nephew and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with her late husband will follow at Mount St.

Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St.

Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St.

Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
