Carolyn G. Allen

Seekonk – Carolyn G. (Gorman) Allen, 70, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Ernest W. Allen for forty-seven years. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late James E. and Florence J. (Jessop) Gorman, she resided in East Providence before moving to Seekonk in 1965. Carolyn was a medical secretary many years ago. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Cheryl A. Cochrane and her husband, Rob of Riverside and Debra L. Owens and her husband, John of North Kingstown; six grandsons, Matthew, Bobby, Nathan, John, Tristan and Alex and her sister, Priscilla J. Horton of Warren, RI. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Seekonk Cemetery.
