Carole Anne Knopf, 89, a resident of Fort Myers, Florida since 1969, formerly of Cuba at the Naval Base passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 under the care of Hope Hospice.

She was born March 18, 1934 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to the late Fred and Grace (nee Hunt) Goffe.

Carole retired from nursing after 50 years of service.

She had a long time love of needlepoint and reading her Bible.

Carole was preceded in death by her sister, Grace Chartier.

Carole is survived by her loving children, Andrew Knopf of Fort Myers, Florida, Carole Knopf of Fort Myers, Florida and Kristen Owens (Fred) of Columbia, South Carolina; one sister, Marion Foshee (Gene) of Tampa, Florida; two brothers, John Goffe (Gerie) of Hooksette, New Hampshire and Robert Goffe of Lincoln, Rhode Island; one brother-in-law, Robert Chartier of West Greenwich, Rhode Island; four adored grandchildren, Michael Owens, Amanda Knopf, Kristen Bradford-Reichenbecher and Sarah Bradford; several great grandchildren, as well as Andrew S.

Knopf of Fort Myers, Florida.

A Funeral Service will be Celebrated on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, 752 Pleasant St., Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Local arrangements are entrusted to WILLIAM W.
