Carmen E. Malo

Pawtucket – Carmen E. (Bessette) Malo, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the beautiful age of ninety-two. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell J. Malo for sixty years. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Edna (Carrignan) Bessette. A lifelong resident of the city, Carmen resided within a one-mile radius her entire life. She was a faithful communicant of St. Cecilia Church, Pawtucket, where she attended school and received all her sacraments. Carmen dedicated her life to raising her children and tending to the family home. She loved to crochet afghans and enjoyed doing crafts. Carmen’s spiritual presence and memories will continue in the hearts of all the lives she has touched.
