Cumberland - Carmen E. (Bedard) Handrigan, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 4, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Handrigan. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Langlois) Bedard, she resided in Cumberland most of her life. Carmen was a day care aide at the New Horizons Day Care Center, and was previously a waitress at Chelo’s Restaurant, Cumberland. She enjoyed camping, music and singing in French, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Carmen leaves three daughters, Maureen Handrigan, Deborah Perreira and her husband, Michael and Cynthia Tanksley and her husband, Gene all of Pawtucket; a son, John Handrigan of North Scituate; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Phaneuf, Melissa Handrigan, Christine Krause, Nicole Billey, Rebecca Geminiani, John Handrigan, Christopher Tanksley and Jessica Mastrianni and ten great-grandchildren.
