Carl B. Handrigan

June 5, 1946 — April 23, 2011

Handrigan, 64, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011.

He was the beloved husband of Joyce M. (Kennedy) Handrigan for 45 years.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of Sarah Elizabeth (Wild) Hinchcliffe and her husband Robert of Cumberland and the late Earl V.

Carl was a Vietnam War U.S.

Army veteran, he was combat wounded and awarded the Purple Heart.

Besides his wife, mother and stepfather, he leaves a son, Daniel Handrigan; two daughters, Cindi Imondi and her husband William and Kathlene Trainor and her husband Robert; thirteen grandchildren; a brother, Earl Handrigan; a sister, Janice Andreozzi and her husband John; four nieces and two nephews.

Carl was an avid golfer who achieved his goal of a hole-in-one; he also loved music, especially the Blues and Jazz.

He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who lived his life to the fullest.

He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

VISITATION will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m., followed by Services at 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
