Caren M. Moroney

Pawtucket – Caren M. (O’Brien) Moroney, 71, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012. She was the beloved wife of James W. Moroney, Sr. The couple would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 16, 2013. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Edith (Clarke) O’Brien. Caren was the founder of Friends of Slater of Pawtucket. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Lisa C. Moroney of Pawtucket; two sons, James W. Moroney, Jr. of Pawtucket and his fiancée, Dawn Picotte, and Eric J. Moroney of Pawtucket and his fiancée, Christina Zinno; three grandchildren, Jami, Kati and Lucas and two great-grandchildren, Gianni and Austin.
