Cara C. Laffey

Pawtucket - Cara Catherine Laffey, 44, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of Janet K. Laffey of Pawtucket and the late Robert M. Laffey.

Cara graduated from Tolman High School and went on to become a dedicated member of Gateways to Change in Cranston. Blessed with a fun-loving personality, Cara enjoyed listening to 80s music, collecting Barbie Dolls, drawing and writing in her journal, and reading books with her mom from her home library. She also loved to watch the Muppet Babies and the Golden Girls. Cara will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Alongside her mother, she leaves behind her loving brother, Philip J. Laffey and his husband Joshua May of Columbus, GA, and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Cara's Life will be announced at a later date.

Funeral Arrangements are private and entrusted to the William W. Tripp Funeral Home, Pawtucket.
