C. Paul Goucher

Paul Goucher, 74, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at home.

He was predeceased by the love of his life, wife Barbara A. (Bury) Goucher.

Born in Lincoln, a son of the late Charles E. and Helen (Elliott) Goucher, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life.

Paul served in the U.S.

Army Airborne completing 39 jumps.

To celebrate his 65th birthday he made his 40th jump.

He was a truck driver at McLean Trucking for 15 years.

He retired from Ruan Transportation in 1995.

Paul was a retired member of Teamsters Local 251, an avid coin collector and a lifelong fan of the New York Giants and Boston Bruins.

He especially enjoyed listening to his son David broadcast Bruins games on the radio.

Paul also enjoyed traveling, most recently with trips to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Normandy, France.

He leaves his son, David C.

Brother of Barbara (Goucher) Perry of Burrillville, RI, Raymond Goucher of Detroit, MI, Kenneth Goucher of East Providence, RI and Karen (Goucher) Butler of West Hyannisport, MA.

Paul had 17 nieces and nephews.

He was also a brother of the lateDavid A.

He will be sadly missed by his friends at Joe’s Bar & Grill, Central Ave.

His funeral with Military Honors will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
