Bruce R. Bergeron

South Attleboro - Bruce R. Bergeron, 58, of South Attleboro, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. A lifelong resident of Attleboro, he was the beloved son of Barbara A. (Pitas) Bergeron of South Attleboro and the late Rodolphe S. Bergeron. Bruce was a graduate of Attleboro High School and played violin in the school orchestra as well as the Attleboro Orchestra. He was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. Bruce had been employed as a Computer Engineer at Motorola and also assisted his father in the family business, Central Sheet Metal. He enjoyed traveling to Europe and Canada but especially enjoyed visiting Great Britain; Scotland and Wales. Bruce was a member of the tennis league at Fore Court Racquet and Fitness Club, Cumberland. He enjoyed many hobbies including collecting vintage books; musical scores and other rare antiquities.
