Betty Ann Powers

Pawtucket – Betty Ann (Eggleston) Powers, 69, passed away at home on Friday, October 22, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Gary F. Powers for thirty-five loving years. Born in Boone County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Billy W. and June (Marlette) Eggleston. Betty Ann graduated from Homes High School in Covington, Kentucky. She moved to Rhode Island in 1983 and worked as a school bus driver for the Cranston School Department for 18 years. Betty Ann enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers, cooking, traveling in her RV and caring for her beloved dogs. She will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past sixty-nine years. Besides her loving husband, Betty Ann leaves her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Glen and Maureen Powers of Seekonk; six siblings, Harold and Sandra Davis, Alice Gayanont, Mary, Bruce and Bert Eggleston, and many nieces and nephews.
