Bette Shaw

East Providence – Bette (Andrew) Shaw, of Rumford, passed away peacefully on the morning of October 28, 2015 at Steere House. She was the loving wife of Frank Shaw, they had been married for sixty-four years. Bette worked at School House Candy for many years until retiring. Besides her husband, Bette leaves her beloved daughter, Tracy Shaw Labrador and son-in-law, Daniel Labrador, III as well as her precious grandson, Daniel IV. She also leaves her cherished dogs, Harry Potter and Rosie and her cat, Hermione. She was the sister of the late Alice Fowler and Thomas “Sonny” Andrew. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m. with a Requiem Eucharist at the Church of the Epiphany, 1336 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford. Interment will follow at Spring Vale Cemetery.
