Pawtucket – Bertha B. (Caron) D’Angelo, 86, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent “Jimmy” D’Angelo. Born in Flemington, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Jules A. and Bertha M. (Duquenoy) Caron, she resided in Pawtucket most of her life. Bertha was a lace threader at the former Seekonk Lace Company for over thirty years and had also worked at the former Korb’s Bakery. Her favorite past-times were solving crossword puzzles and spending time with her cat, Mickey. She enjoyed attending the Leon A. Mathieu Senior Center and was a longtime member of the former Y Wives Club. She leaves a son, Kevin D’Angelo of Pawtucket; two sisters, Lucy M. Rossi and her husband, Robert of Pawtucket and Yvette G. Rybak and her husband, John of Middleburg, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Joanne Caron of Pawtucket and Frances Mildfeldt of North Smithfield; nieces and nephews.
