Pawtucket – Bertha T. (Zukowski) Cooper, 91, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012.

She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond C.

Cooper, Sr. (Retired Pawtucket Police Dept.) A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Winsenty and Mechalena (Nechveroviz) Zukowski.

Cooper made costumes for Peko Creations and later retired from Texas Instruments after twenty-five years of service.

She was active for many years in St.

Teresa’s Mothers Club, Bowling League and Seniors Group, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary FOP Lodge #4.

She enjoyed golfing and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.

Cooper always had a smile for everyone.

She leaves two sons, Raymond C.

Cooper, Jr. and his wife, Signe and William L.

Cooper; two grandsons, Scott Cooper and his wife, Chris and Michael Cooper and his wife, Kate; five great-grandchildren, Spencer, Madison, Tanya, Michael and Cheyenne Cooper all of Pawtucket; two sisters, Mary Garzoli of North Providence and Agnes Jones of Florida and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was the sister of the late Frank Zukowski, Stacia Dykas, Adele Satti and William Zukowski.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave.

Interment will follow at Mt.

VISITATION Thursday 4 – 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
