Bertha Bourgault

Woonsocket - Bertha (Davy) Bourgault, 84, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald T.

Born in Pawtucket, she was one of seven children of the late Herman and Alice (Smith) Davy.

Bertha worked for Texas Instruments, Inc., Attleboro, for many years until her retirement.

She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Pawtucket, where in more recent years, she worked in the church’s thrift shop.

Bertha was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren.

She will be remembered as a kind and loving person, who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures.

Bertha leaves a daughter, Debbie Durant and her husband, Jeff, of Plymouth, MA; two sons, Robert Gilbert and his wife, Sandy, of Smithfield and David Gilbert of Woonsocket; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Nancy Grace and Michael Walters.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Graveside Service on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Newell Burying Ground, 1502 West St., Attleboro.
