Bernard M. O'Connor

Rehoboth, MA – Bernard “Bernie” M. O’Connor, 68, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from medical complications brought on by Interstitial Lung Disease. He was the beloved husband of Susan M. (Dube) O’Connor for thirty-eight years. Born in Providence on May 23, 1955, he was the son of the late Thomas, Sr., and Grace L. (McCann) O’Connor. Bernie graduated from LaSalle Academy, CCRI and Bryant College, where he earned a Master of Taxation degree. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant for thirty-five years, and was a partner in the firm of Collins, Smith and O’Connor, LLP in Attleboro, MA. An avid golfer, Bernie was a member of the Riverside Golf League for thirty-seven years and served as President of the league for the last twenty years. A true New England sports fan, Bernie would often be caught by his wife “checking the score” on his phone. He will be remembered as a loving husband, dad and friend to many.
