Bernard M. Milone

Pawtucket – Bernard M. Milone, 86, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012. The son of the late Emanuele M. and Bernadette (Lantagne) Milone, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life. Mr. Milone was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of the DAV. He served in the Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns and was awarded the Purple Heart; Combat Infantry Badge and the European African Middle Eastern Theatre Ribbon with two Bronze Stars. Mr. Milone was a 1944 graduate of the former Pawtucket East High School and a 1949 graduate of Johnson & Wales University. He was employed at the Hope Club, Providence for 42 years before retiring as Office Manager in 1991. He leaves several cousins and was the companion of the late Margaret Malachowski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
