Pawtucket – Bernadette “Bonnie” D.

Nowak, 69, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017.

Bernadette was born in Montclair, New Jersey, a beloved daughter of the late Walter M. and Doris K. (Curry) Nowak.

She was a longtime communicant of St.

Joseph Church, Pawtucket and a devout participant of the Legion of Mary at St.

Bonnie will be remembered for her sweet spirit and quiet acceptance of all.

She leaves her loving sister, Regina LaRose and her husband, Michael of Needham, MA; a nephew, Stephen LaRose and his wife, Mary Ellen and a great-nephew, William LaRose all of Westwood, MA.

Bonnie also leaves her dear friends, Maria Hammond of East Providence and Maureen Galligan of North Providence.

VISITATION will begin on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Joseph Church, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket.

Interment in the family plot at Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic, CT, will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to either St.

Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St.

Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 will be appreciated.
