Pawtucket - Beatrice “Bea” Ruth (Healy) Kennedy, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Joseph Kennedy for sixty-four years.
The seventh of nine children of the late Daniel Francis Healy and Mary Esther (Walsh) Healy, she was a lifelong resident of Rhode Island. “Bea" enjoyed a fulfilling career at Brown University Office of the Chaplains for many years until retiring in 1991.
Bea was a member of the Leon Mathieu Senior Center, Cedar Cove Community Center, Spirited Sisters and Faith Healing Group.
She enjoyed spending over twenty-five winters in Sarasota, FL.
Bea was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was dearly loved by all her family members and many friends.
Her kind always affable spirit will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Eve of Sarasota, FL, Linda Kennedy Leca (Brian) of Pawtucket, Daniel J.
Kennedy, Jr. (Sherri) of North Kingstown, John H.
Kennedy (Kim) of Dumfries, VA, Maureen M.
Martuscelli (Michael) of Venice, FL and Eileen F.
Botelho (late Phil) of Sarasota, FL.
She also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bea also leaves her sister Audrey J.
DiGiovanni of Sarasota, FL, she was also the sister of the late Daniel F.
Healy Jr., Mary "Dot" Beard, Margaret Dunn, Eileen Perron, Francis Buckley, Patricia Carr and Barbara LeFort.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, October 24th from 10 a.m. until 10:40 a.m. at St.
Cecilia Church of St.
John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket, followed by Words of Remembrance at 10:45 a.m. and a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m.
Private interment at Mount St.
Mary Cemetery, Prospect Street, Pawtucket, RI, will be held at a later date.
