Pawtucket - Battalion Chief Jamie Jerard Pike, P.F.D., 53, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 16, 2026. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of Marge (Collette) Pike of Pawtucket and the late Norman G. Pike.
Jamie graduated from St. Raphael Academy in 1990 and spent over twenty-five years in public service to the City of Pawtucket Fire Department; most recently serving as Battalion Chief. He was also a member of the Pawtucket Police & Fire Retirees Association. Jamie had a profound respect for his fellow firefighters and colleagues over his years of service.
Blessed with a magnetic personality, people were drawn to him. Everyone loved him and he loved everyone. Jamie stood by his family and friends no matter what. He was also an avid New England Patriots Fan. Above all else, Jamie was a devoted father who enjoyed spending time with his sons, especially while boating in Narragansett Bay and listening to music.
Alongside his mother, he leaves behind his beloved sons, Jacob Pike of Coventry and Joshua Pike of Coventry, siblings, Kenneth Pike of Pawtucket, Joe Pike (Bridgitte) of Pawtucket, Douglas Pike (Deborah) of Tuscan, AZ, Kelly Pike of Pawtucket, and Jason Pike of Cumberland, and several nieces and nephews.
