Barbra J. Wotherspoon

Warwick – Barbra J. (Boncorsi) Wotherspoon, 85, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida J. (Biagioni) Boncorsi. Barbra was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who had a passion for music and singing. She began her singing career in 1954 as “Bonnie Mann” singing in many area venues from Pawtucket to Newport. Barbra spent much of her time with friends in Newport supporting and encouraging her fellow musicians. She was a member and coordinator of the RI Women’s Golf Association; former member of Warwick Country Club and a longtime volunteer for the Providence Musicians Union. Barbra leaves her daughter, Beth A. Hart of Warwick; “beloved second daughter”, Karen L. Scanlan of North Attleboro and a granddaughter, Stephanie E. Goodman and her husband, Tucker of Swampscott, MA. Services will be private. A public Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted. Memorial...
